1. What Project Memory Is

1.1. Project Brain is DIVAI’s project memory feature. DIVAI remembers your project’s context — its goals, decisions, files, conversations, and preferences — so that work on your project continues coherently over time instead of starting from scratch in every session.

1.2. Memory exists so that:

  • you do not have to re-explain your project each time;
  • decisions made earlier are respected in later work; and
  • long-running projects stay consistent across sessions and tasks.

2. Scope — Per Project

2.1. Memory is kept per project. What DIVAI remembers for one project is used for that project.

2.2. You decide what goes into your project. What you choose not to store in a project is not remembered for that project.

3. Isolation — Your Memory Is Not Shared

This is a permanent rule, stated plainly:

3.1. Your project memory is private to you. Other customers cannot see, access, or benefit from the contents of your project memory.

3.2. DIVAI does not use your private project memory to teach or improve the Service for other customers in any way that exposes your information. There is no raw cross-customer learning from your private content. This is a standing commitment of the product, not a setting.

3.3. Memory belonging to one customer is kept separate from memory belonging to every other customer. Draft item pending confirmation before activation.

4. Your Control Over Memory

4.1. You can:

  1. View what DIVAI remembers about your project;
  2. Correct memory that is inaccurate or outdated;
  3. Export your project memory in a usable format (see Section 7); and
  4. Delete memory — individual items or an entire project’s memory.

4.2. Draft item pending confirmation before activation.

5. Consent and Limiting What Is Remembered

5.1. By using a project in DIVAI, you allow DIVAI to remember that project’s context as described in this document, so the feature can work.

5.2. You can limit memory at any time: tell DIVAI not to remember a specific item, correct or delete remembered items, or delete the memory of an entire project.

5.3. Draft item pending confirmation before activation.

6. Independence from AI Providers

6.1. Project Brain is DIVAI’s own system. Your project memory lives with DIVAI, not with any third-party AI provider.

6.2. DIVAI routes AI requests to underlying model providers, and those providers may change over time. Changing providers does not move your memory to any provider. No provider gains your project memory by processing requests.

6.3. Whether a provider separately retains request data under its own terms is a different question, addressed in DIVAI’s AI Processing Disclosure. It does not affect where your project memory lives.

7. Retention and Deletion

7.1. While your project is active. Project memory is kept for as long as your project and account remain active.

7.2. Export before deletion. You may export your project memory in a usable format. Export is available within 30 days of a deletion request or account closure. Draft item pending confirmation before activation.

7.3. What deletion removes. When you delete a project, its memory, or your account, DIVAI deletes: your raw private content, your private project memories, customer-identifiable context, and any derived data that could be reversed to identify you or reconstruct your private content.

7.4. Deletion timeline. Deletion of this data is targeted to complete within 30 days in active systems. Copies in backups are deleted within 90 days at most, as backups expire. Deletion may take longer only where the law or security needs require retention — for example, a legal hold or an active security investigation. Draft item pending confirmation before activation.

7.5. What may remain — stated honestly. DIVAI does not claim that everything is instantly erased. After deletion, DIVAI may retain irreversible, privacy-safe generalized learning — meaning aggregate or de-identified information that cannot be reversed, cannot be tied back to you, and does not contain your private content. Your raw private content and anything that could identify you is deleted per Sections 7.3 and 7.4. Draft item pending confirmation before activation.

7.6. Deleting a project without deleting your account. You can delete an individual project and its memory without deleting your DIVAI account. The same deletion rules in this Section 7 apply to that project’s memory.

8. Personal Data in Project Memory

8.1. Your project memory may contain personal data — yours or third parties’ — if you place it in a project.

8.2. Draft item pending confirmation before activation.
